JOB TITLE: UX Designer

Rate: $45-50/hr on W2 or $50-57/hr on C2C – MAX

Notes: Looking for a UI/UX focused developer with proficiency in interaction design, solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

Job Description
We are looking for an Experienced UX Designer to drive discovery, design, workflows, and usability testing activities. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the office.

What You’ll Do

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other designers to balance user needs and business requirements, ensuring we deliver user-centered experiences.
2. Identify opportunities to optimize and simplify complex processes, reducing cognitive load and minimizing user errors.
3. Utilize the existing Design System and UI styles to maintain design consistency across applications.
4. Create clickable prototypes to test design assumptions and hypotheses.
5. Work with multiple application teams to deliver project-required deliverables on time.
6. Perform design quality assurance during development.
7. Ensure that designs and code are accessible to all users.

What You’ll Need

1. Extensive experience in designing enterprise-level applications.
2. Experience conducting user research, including user interviews, usability testing, and creating user journey maps.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings or user/business needs into actionable insights.
4. Proficiency in interaction design, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
5. Excellent storytelling, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
6. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
7. Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
8. Bachelor’s degree or certification in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field.
9. A minimum of 10 years of experience in UX design.
10. A strong portfolio of enterprise applications explaining your role, methodology, problems solved, steps taken, learnings, and outcomes.
11. LinkedIn profile.

Preferred:

1. Experience with the PEGA suite of applications.
2. Familiarity with Agile methodology.

1. Required 4 Years Experience in Website application UI/UX graphic design.
2. Required 4 Years User Research Experience.
3. Required 1 Year Adobe XD.
4. Required 4 Years Photoshop.
5. Required 4 Years Illustrator.
6. Required 4 Years InDesign.
7. Required 4 Years HTML5.
8. Required 4 Years Dreamweaver.
9. Required 4 Years CSS3.
10. Required 5 Years Overall technical and IT experience.
11. Required 4 Years Experience designing and documenting User Interface and User Experience.
12. Required 2 Years WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
13. Nice to have 1 Year Pega Platform.
14. Nice to have 2 Years experience with Agile methodology.
15. 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
