Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Stage Manage Music production and academic technical runs and performances in Musco Center, Memorial Hall and Fish Interfaith Center.
ResponsibilitiesThe Stage Manager often calls cues during technical rehearsals and performances, and is responsible for the successful completion of each Conservatory event.The Stage Manager also completes pre- and post- rehearsal/performance paperwork to document all event outcomes.This position is typically staffed in pairs, with a Stage Manager (SM) and an Assistant Stage Manager (ASM) scheduled for every rehearsal and/or performance.Will interface with College of Performing Arts and Musco Center for the Arts administration and staff, including but not limited to: Assistant Director of Artistic Operations, Conservatory Operations Coordinator, Production Manager(s) and/or Patron Services Coordinator
Required Qualifications
Ability to learn support process. Weekend and night availability.
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience in stage management and/or familiarity with Music concerts/recitals preferred but not required. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Teams Shifts.
Special Instructions to Applicants
Work hours vary per concert, but mainly consist of evenings and weekends (some weekday hours may be requested based on ensemble, rehearsal and/or class schedules)
