The Assistant Community Manager oversees daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. Key responsibilities include managing rent collection, staff supervision, leasing, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Post payments, reconcile accounts, follow up on bad debt, help meet budget goals, and manage end-of-month reporting.
- Personnel Management: Ensure onsite staff are trained, coached, and compliant with company policies; promote a positive work environment.
- Strategic Leasing Management: Implement effective leasing techniques, marketing strategies, and resident retention programs.
- Administrative Management: Ensure excellent customer service, maintain property appearance, and manage resources efficiently.
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred, or 2 years in the housing industry, or related experience.
- Basic computer skills and understanding of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, sitting, moving about, and occasional physical tasks such as climbing ladders or lifting up to 25 lbs.
Asset Living offers a comprehensive total rewards package, including benefits, 401K, bonuses, and paid time off. Salary range: $15 - $23 per hour.
