This is a fulltime non-tenure track Professor of Practice position, and the starting rank is Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Teach courses related to contemporary pop music and music technology. The teaching load is 24 credit hours per contract year-Take a leading role in recruitment initiatives-Pursue scholarly activity related to musical expertise-Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary-Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment
Minimum Qualifications
Masters Degree in music. Strong technology skills and college teaching experience preferred. Strong commitment to teaching and recruitment. Candidates should have an active career with extensive professional experience as a performer in contemporary pop music. The candidate must also have a very strong music technology background with extensive documented experience in music production, recording, and live sound.
