Make sure to apply quickly in order to maximise your chances of being considered for an interview Read the complete job description below.Communications Department Overview While Fair Food Network’s communications department has many responsibilities - from brand to digital communications and content marketing - there are two overarching functions:Weaving a compelling organizational narrative and communicating that story across multiple channels in support of organizational goals and revenue.Serving as the in-house agency providing communications and marketing support to various programmatic efforts including Double Up Food Bucks Michigan, the Nutrition Incentive Hub, and the Michigan Good Food Fund, in which Fair Food Network is the administrative manager.Key Responsibilities This role focuses on boosting program brand awareness and usage among new and potential participants in our nutrition incentives and impact investing programs. This role will also provide strategic program marketing consultation through the Nutrition Incentive Hub, helping practitioners who lead healthy food incentive projects across the country better engage new and existing participants.Program Marketing Strategy
Create and implement annual communications and marketing plans for Fair Food Network’s key programs (Double Up Food Bucks Michigan, Nutrition Incentive Hub, and Michigan Good Food Fund) that advance the organization’s program marketing priorities.Lead content development aligned with the organization's strategy and program marketing goals, managing and executing e-newsletters, storytelling initiatives, and print and online publications including blogs and other marketing materials.Set and execute marketing strategy for Fair Food Network’s Double Up Food Bucks program in Michigan, connecting with economically disadvantaged people.Serve as program marketing lead for Michigan Good Food Fund, developing and leading the implementation of marketing campaigns for this statewide lending network reaching food and farm entrepreneurs.Support marketing consultation for the Nutrition Incentive Hub, providing design and digital expertise to new or established nutrition incentive and produce prescription projects across the country.Oversee two manager positions and steward various vendors supporting success of content development and design aligned with program priorities.
