Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and seamless integration of diverse components and subsystems into military combat vehicles.
Oversee the design process, from individual component detailing to managing large-scale assemblies for complete vehicle systems.
Spearhead the design, development, and seamless integration of diverse components and subsystems into military combat vehicles, ensuring adherence to stringent performance and safety standards.
Lead cross-functional teams in conceptualizing, prototyping, and refining designs to meet evolving operational requirements and strategic objectives.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including engineering teams, suppliers, and government agencies, to ensure alignment with program goals and regulatory compliance.
Drive innovation by identifying and implementing advanced design methodologies, materials, and technologies to enhance vehicle performance, durability, and mission capabilities.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in military vehicle design and engineering, leveraging insights to inform future design iterations and program enhancements.
Qualifications
Educational background in AS Product Design specializing in Mechanical, Structural, Systems, Aerospace, or Automotive engineering disciplines.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design and development within US Defense programs
Demonstrated proficiency in design encompassing mechanical and/or electrical aspects, including conceptualization, initial packaging assessments, prototyping, production design, system amalgamation, and system optimization to meet specified criteria.
Proficient in utilizing diverse CAD processes, design methodologies, prototyping techniques, and manufacturing methods for both prototype and production stages.
