Marketing Co-Op/Intern - Fall 2024
Summary:
As a Marketing Co-Op/Intern at Methods Machine Tools , you will serve as our in-house storyteller to amplify Methods' innovation, technology, and customer success from a variety of perspectives.
Working with our Sales and Engineering organizations, Product Managers, and other cross-functional teams, we pursue stories with cohesive messaging and programs that influence Methods' market presence and existing and prospective customers, in alignment with Methods' overall corporate strategy.
Success in this role will require strong writing skills, mature communication and collaboration skills with internal and external partners and customers, and the ability work proactively to design, draft, and execute customer testimonials and media content for both written and multimedia platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with your Marketing peers, Sales, and Product Managers to identify, articulate, and prioritize content into consumable, influential messaging.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of content to ensure we're achieving Marketing goals
• Support Marketing programs as needed including, but may not be limited to, webinars, social media, email marketing, website management, and product launches.
• Engage with Marketing's business partners to launch and manage content on our digital properties.
• Manage an editorial calendar that transparently defines Marketing's operational cadence
• Effectively communicate and demonstrate Marketing's objectives to key internal business partners.
• Collaborate with external agency on program management and prioritization
Qualifications
• Proactive mindset, willing to take initiative to pursue new opportunities while working independently
• Comfortable working with technical artifacts, data, and industry terminology to best develop, draft, and launch compelling content
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Proficiency with Adobe Tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro
• Experience working external media contacts a plus, but not required.
• B2B social media experience a plus, but not required
• Able to provide multiple writing samples that demonstrate skill level and methodologies
• Prior internships or co-ops a plus, but not required.
• College-level course work in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, or Business-focused disciplines.
