Job Title: Content & Community Marketing Manager
Reports to: VP of Growth
The Community & Content Marketing Manager role involves a blend of social media management, content production and community engagement to elevate the brand's presence and engagement among its active and prospective customers.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
Social Media Management
- Develop and implement social media strategies to boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Create and schedule engaging content across various platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.) including both creative and copy.
- Monitor social media trends and apply them to enhance engagement and growth.
- Analyze social media metrics and monthly reports to measure success and guide future strategies.
- Collaborate and executive activations, such as seasonal giveaways, with brand partners and influencers
- Create and manage a social media calendar to coincide with performance, brand and community marketing initiatives
Content Production & Marketing:
- Work with the marketing & creative team (internally and externally) to produce high-quality, effective marketing content that resonates with our target audience. This content will support both organic and paid channels.
- Manage a content and campaign calendar to support new seasons and promotions.
- Oversee the production of diverse content formats, including UGC, static creative, blogs, inserts, other videos, and newsletters/member updates.
- Create content using platforms like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, and collaborate with internal and external creative resources (graphic designers, video editors, etc.) to produce content. Content may be utilized in both brand and performance marketing channels including email, paid social, organic social, website, inserts.
- Support the copywriting efforts for the website, paid social, organic social and email.
- Organize and execute quarterly photoshoots
Influencer and Creator Partnerships:
- Identify and build relationships with content creators and influencers who align with the target audience.
- Build and manage partnerships and promotions with influencers, both emerging and established influencers.
- Manage creator and influencer collaborations through social media channels
- Set and track KPIs to determine the success of these partnerships
- Build a roster of creators to support content creation each season
- Coordinate delivery of promotional product to influencers and creators each season
- Assist in the creation and management of a seasonal influencer/creator budget
Community Engagement:
- Foster an active and engaging online community through prompt responses to comments, messages, and reviews.
- Develop strategies aimed at increasing member loyalty and retention.
- Engage customers through on and offline means such as Facebook groups, giveaways, member events, etc.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management, community engagement, and content creation and marketing. (3+ years of experience)
- Experience in the health & wellness industry is preferred, but not required
- This is a hybrid role. You must be able to work in the Encinitas office approximately 3 days per week.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation tools.
- Proficient in Canva and or Adobe CS, Social Media Management Software such as Hootsuite, AI tools such as OpenAI
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Highly driven, always learning, and eager to grow and excel in a fast paced environment.
