Position Overview: Bach To Rock ("B2R"), America’s Music School for students of all ages, is seeking part-time Music Teachers at the Nashville West location. Teachers will deliver music and performance lessons using B2R curriculum, fostering an inspiring environment where students learn theory and technique through music they enjoy.
Responsibilities:
- Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum, including cover song arrangements.
- Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere.
- Assess students' readiness to join bands or ensembles.
- Assist at school events as needed.
- Maintain and assess equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- Understanding of music concepts and effective communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to the primary instrument.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.
- Experience as a performer (solo or group).
- Experience working with youth and/or beginner musicians.
- Effective interaction with children and adults.
- Ability to pass a background check.
