Our Marketing Lead will work cross-functionally to create and develop marketing strategies and campaigns that engage members, drive awareness, increase share-of-wallet and increase new member acquisition. They’ll accomplish these objectives by collaborating with the marketing team and other departments throughout Blue, acting as the project lead to ensure that projects are delivered on time and above expectations, and with visibility for all key stakeholders. At a tactical level, they will own external email communications, brand social media platforms, and ad operations functions. They will also coordinate closely with communications and copy roles (either internal or freelance) and stay abreast of marketing industry trends in order to make recommendations for strategy and development to most effectively market the Blue brand and drive engagement.
Major Duties and Responsibilities Builds campaign strategies, manages execution, and informs the VP of Marketing of ROI. Leading projects to ensure efficacy across strategy alignment, timelines and quality of work.
Build email campaign strategies, manages execution and reviews execution of campaigns. Develops email marketing plans that are within the scope and have measurable outcomes.
Develop and lead organic and paid social media strategies that enhance member engagement and drive brand awareness. Manage the execution of social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
Manage the department's data analytics platform (such as Claritas) and spearhead initiatives to enhance targeted marketing strategies for current and prospective Blue members.
Tracks, measures, and creates internal visibility for all marketing outcomes, including marketing activities, ad campaigns, conversions, retention, and ROI.
Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to integrate digital marketing efforts with broader marketing campaigns. Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all digital channels.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Knowledge and Skills Experience
Five years to eight years of media, email marketing, and digital media placement experience. Project Management experience desired. Must be a team player who embraces a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work on various projects at one time, prioritize deliverables, and collaborate with other departments. Email campaign management experience required.
Education/Certifications/Licenses
A college degree in marketing, communication, or graphic design.
Interpersonal Skills
The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.

Starting Range: $62,342.04 - $69,763.72
Full Range: $59,373.38 - $89,060.07

Is able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
