Brand/Calendar Strategy
Progress strategic planning process by partnering with insights to determine future growth opportunities and to champion additional consumer insights.Ideate, develop, validate brand equity campaign ideas (non-product or value)Partner with Director, Brand Marketing and VP to lead strategy planning.Partner with VP to develop LT-facing marketing and calendar strategy.Author leadership and franchisee presentations on calendar strategy and planning
Calendar Planning:
Partner with Director of Brand Marketing to prioritize product and value initiatives.Thoughtfully sequence initiatives to deliver cohesive brand messaging, to deliver sales performance and to manage operational complexity.Develop and implement a rolling 3-year calendar or key marketing initiatives.Partner with VP to lead franchisee advisory board.Develop and lead organizational alignment process.Partner with Supply Chain and Director of Commercialization to thoughtfully mitigate product liabilities and go/no go decisions.Act as the main liaison to cross functional partners and deliver weekly calendar updates to marketing and operations organization.Periodically updates the marketing calendar to implement latest innovation from our category team, learnings from our media team, changes in the competitive landscape, or to activate a new guest insight
Required Skills:
University degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, MBA Preferred8-10+ years of work experience in CPG, Retail, or related field, with passion and knowledge of or interest in the QSR IndustryStrong managerial experienceTrack record of exceptional project management, analytical skills, creative problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at onceStrong business acumen with a high sense of curiosityAdvanced skill level using Excel and PowerPointStrong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to interact cross functionally, communicate effectively, and lead teams towards a common goalHighly organized and motivated with a desire to outperformAbility to work and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentMust be solution-oriented, able to dissect information, see opportunities, pre-empt potential issues, and find solutionsMust have excellent oral and written skills to include formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and present development presentationsMust have the ability to interface and maintain excellent professional relationships with a variety of audiences including franchise partners, food
