The Opportunity:
As an SEM Specialist, you’ll be joining a dynamic programmatic media buying team and play a key role in the success of our client’s campaigns and goals. The SEM Specialist is ultimately responsible for setting up, executing, and optimizing client’s campaigns. As an integral player on your team, you will ensure a campaign’s success and find creative ways to say YES to our clients.
Location:
Brkthru operates as a fully remote company with occasional mandatory travel for training and offsites, provided with advance notice. We uphold the expectation that all team members maintain a dedicated and reliable workspace, free from distractions, to ensure optimal productivity.
Our hiring strategy prioritizes proximity to key markets and business hubs to foster collaboration and better serve our clients. Candidates must reside within select locations and metro areas to ensure accessibility for travel, alignment with team operations, and for in-person collaboration. Candidates based outside of these locations will not be considered at this time. This approach allows us to maintain a strong local presence while supporting a remote-first work environment. - The SEM Specialist maintains a deep understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives, translating them into successful search and YouTube campaigns.
- Possesses a deep understanding of campaign and industry metrics for measurement.
- Plans and manages all aspects of the campaign from onboarding, optimizing and reporting - ability to utilize updated features.
- Provides holistic insights, narrative and recommendations to drive campaign performance.
- Performs robust competitive analyses and audits as needed.
- Develop strategies for paid search campaigns including account structure, testing opportunities, tagging structure, and reporting opportunities.
- Guide Associate SEM Specialists on campaign recommendations, modifications, and education while collaborating with Senior SEM Specialists on large initiatives.
- The SEM Specialist executes campaigns flawlessly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Search Engine Marketing and YouTube.
- Experience in the following platforms: Google Ads for Search and YouTube, Microsoft Advertising, MatchCraft Advantage.
- Proven ability to work independently and multi-task: Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date on all industry trends, platform news, and anything else that may impact or improve ad operations.
- Ability to immediately troubleshoot and identify technical issues.
- Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work.
Compensation commensurate with experience between $60,000 - $73,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.
