The Position:
The
Art Director of Print
is an integral part of the Creative Team structure and is responsible for conceptualizing, directing, and executing creative print materials that align with our brand standards and marketing objectives. This role requires a blend of artistic, managerial, and strategic skills to ensure high-quality and impactful visual communication across various print media, mainly focused on packaging, catalog, and in-store & shopper marketing materials. This position works hand-in-hand with the Creative Director to bring campaigns to life, maintains relationships with cross-functional teams, and manages the Senior Production Artist as well as the Catalog Design Manager.

The Location:
Hybrid combining working from home, and onsite in White River Junction, VT roughly 3 days per month. Ideal candidates will be located within a 2–3-hour drive of our offices.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeads, manages, and inspires a team of designers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Develops visual concepts that align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the desired messageCollaborates and maintains strong relationships with cross-functional teams, primarily Brand, Innovation, Direct-to-Consumer, and Editorial.Maintains outstanding attention to detail while overseeing the print design process from initial concept to release, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.Successfully communicates conceptual ideas and design rationale to internal stakeholders, while being receptive to feedbackEffectively manages multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks, and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.Creatively develops campaigns in collaboration with marketing strategists for integrated marketing initiatives that span both print and digital mediums.Stays updated on the latest design trends and applies them effectively to enhance creative output.Experience and Education:
7-10 years of experience in the design industry, with proven experience as an Art DirectorExperience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferredStrong Portfolio showcasing previous workProficient in design software including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign).BA/BFA in Graphic Design preferredWe value those who can demonstrate capability and articulate how prior experience will help them transition into this role.Competencies:
