Architectural Designer
Aetta Architects is currently in need of a collaborative new team member to be part of the architectural process. Our Designers and draftspeople work closely with our team, assist in the development of the design, and work to complete the construction documents and support our architectural team.
Position Description: We are looking for an Architectural Draftsperson or Designer that has experience in Commercial design. The person will work closely with the architects and project managers to support the architectural production process. We are also looking for someone who loves what they do, demonstrates professional integrity, highly values quality, and practices a healthy work/life balance.
Your day-to-day work experience will include:
• Design and draft architectural details and construction documents using REVIT
• Use strong technical knowledge of construction documentation and detailing
• Key tasks for all project phases, including programming, space planning, and conceptual design
• Involvement in constructing client proposals, presentations, and drawings
Position Salary Range:
$30-$46/hr, DOE
Required Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience working on the design process, architectural details, and construction documents
• 3+ years’ REVIT Experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in programming techniques for client collaboration
• Articulate in conveying design ideas through graphics, writing, verbalization, and presentations
• Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
• Team oriented mentality with the ability to work independently and the foresight to know when to ask for help
• Ability to interface with clients with direction and oversight by others
Preferences:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program
• Knowledge and understanding of building codes and inspection regulations
• Interior Design experience preferred
