Job Type: W2 hourly contract through end of 2025

Compensation Range: $50-60/hr

Our financial services client is seeking a UX Researcher to support their Credit Risk team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive researcher who is comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative research and has a keen interest in scaling research operations.

This contract position runs from April through December and requires a hybrid presence in Plano, TX. The selected researcher(s) will assist with customer satisfaction measurement, research operations, and usability testing while supporting a sole researcher managing a high volume of strategic work.

Responsibilities

Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) Score Management:

1. Administer and deploy surveys across five product lines
2. Analyze and report on survey response metrics
3. Optimize and refine survey dissemination methods

UX Research & Operations Support:

1. Assist with the research intake process
2. Support participant recruitment
3. Conduct 3-5 usability tests
4. Contribute to research repository management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Highly organized & proactive, able to work autonomously
2. Experience with both qualitative & quantitative research
3. Some familiarity with data analysis is preferred
4. Strong interest in credit risk and complex financial domains
5. Comfortable in a supporting role, scaling research efforts
6. Open to candidates from any industry background
7. Hybrid role in Plano, TX
8. Contract through December (due to hiring constraints)
9. Candidates with research strategy experience are strongly preferred

Requirements

1. 5+ years of professional experience:
2. UX Research: Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
3. Survey Administration & Analysis: Experience deploying, managing, and analyzing customer satisfaction (CSAT) surveys or similar research tools.
4. Research Operations Support: Ability to assist with participant recruitment, research intake, and usability testing.
5. Data Interpretation & Reporting: Ability to analyze research data and present insights effectively.
6. Highly Organized & Proactive: Comfortable managing multiple research initiatives in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
7. Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to support cross-functional teams and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
