As Content Marketing Specialist, you'll oversee content creation and distribution in paid and owned channels, accelerating our impact with expert project management skills, knack for using data to inform strategy, and ability to work with creatives and engineers with equal ease. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external resources to develop and execute our content roadmap, activate campaigns, and optimize content-related processes.Responsibilities:
Content strategy
Partner with marketing leadership to develop annual content roadmapCoordinate with Field Marketing Manager, Sales, Business Development, and Client Success teams to ensure alignment of content roadmap with campaign objectivesLead development of paid, owned, and earned content calendarContent development
Lead content development process for marketing campaigns, account based marketing program, and stand-alone communicationsCreate briefs and manage content development process, engaging stakeholders for input and review as requiredOversee development of high-quality assets including white papers, fact sheets, case studies, blog posts, email copy, video content, and social posts, with additional asset types as neededAudit existing content and identify opportunities for optimization and extension via new formats to increase reach and value of existing assetsPerform SEO research and use insights to optimize new content and existing web propertiesManage external resources supporting content development, including copywriter, graphic designers, and video production and website agency partnersDevelop and iterate on content best practices through testing of content types, messaging, and distribution channelsContent distribution
Maintain brand website, ensuring it's up to date with the latest messaging, lead-generation resources, and blog contentOversee and manage B2B email marketing program, owned social media channels, and digital community engagementTraffic assets to paid media partnersCross-team collaboration
Maintain library of brand marketing resources for internal and external partners including written tone of voice, visual style guide, and PowerPoint and Google slides style guidesMaintain EnergyHub content libraryOwn PowerPoint and Google slides templates and train team on best practicesOther duties as assignedPreferred skills and experience:
2-3 years in content marketing, ideally in technology or clean energy, with the ability to be both hands on and strategicBelief in the ability of great stories to help decarbonize our electricity systemAbility to communicate highly-technical subject matter in an accessible mannerDeep understanding of audiences and buyer personas and how to create content that resonates with target audiencesExperience using data to guide content development and optimizationProven ability to develop and execute content marketing strategies to achieve specific goalsExcellent writing and editing skillsCollaborative, cross-functional team playerProject management experience and the ability to work independently on multiple projects while staying highly organizedExperience using marketing tech stacks and CMS (HubSpot, Salesforce, and Wordpress or equivalent CMS preferred)The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000.
