Overview
This position will oversee all social media and internet related channels at the Centric Waikiki Beach. The position will assist with the development of revenue generation for the hotel by maximizing the use of electronic distribution channels including property web sites, third party sites and social media sites.
The rate of pay is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
Increase awareness through integrated marketing efforts.Full Social Media strategic guidance and implementation.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support resource for technical implementation of internet initiatives for the hotel.Manage Facebook, Instagram and all targeted social media channels through social media monitoring platforms.Identify revenue or partnership opportunities on social media or third party websites.Ensure consistency of published content (updated photos, videos and copy) across all hotel and outlet listings on various websites.Manage online reputation, respond to all reviews on Trip Advisors and other like sites.Update all Hyatt Websites and third party sites.Marketing projects as assigned by Managers. i.e, Sales Flyers, Advertisements, etc.Marketing research and reportingBe fully knowledgeable of hotel services, amenities, capacities, operational systems, and processes in order to accurately respond to customer questions and requests for information.Help us develop our social media platform by assisting our agency and managers with clever, unique and ongoing posting ideas for Facebook and Instagram.Responsibility to keep the sales and event department running smoothly, enabling the sales team to focus fully on booking business and beating sales goals.Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing and Sales Managers.Be a part of something bigger. Qualifications:
Polished writing skills.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeGood verbal communication skills.Graphic design experience a plus.Basic Search Engine Optimization principles a plus.Self-starter and strong collaboratorEffective leadership skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Creative, organized and strong business sense.Effective communications and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and within a team.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent time management skills.Proven quantitative analytical skills.Experienced and comfortable managing social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram) on a professional level.Knowledge of graphic design software a plus.Video production a plus.
