This role supports Pankow to maintain a single, consistent voice and brand in all of its communications.

JOB SCOPE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary AccountabilitiesProposals
Continuously improve and maintain proposal process and best practices with Culture and Communications team
Ensure all proposals have consistent visual identity and on-point messaging, as determined by corporate-wide standardsPartner with Director of Culture and Communications and Operational teams from the beginning of pursuit process to ensure team unity in strategic messaging through completionCollaborate with project teams to provide support in the facilitation of interview strategy sessions and develop presentations to empower the team to deliver well-crafted messages
Proposals Regional
Coordinate qualifications, proposal and presentation preparation activities; oversee and participate hands-on in the production of all qualifications, proposal and presentation deliverablesCoordinate the activities of external marketing resources (coaching, photography, graphics and technical writing)Support writing of proposal sections and cover letters-Work closely with Preconstruction, Project Management and Operations personnel in researching and producing "the story"Build relationships and work with Proposal Lead in developing win strategies and proposal preparation plans that address the client's issues and the RFP/RFQ requirementsManage database and accurately catalog company project dataCoordinate and develop presentations including strategy sessions, team meetings, research, design, reproduction, etc.Organize post-proposal debrief
Brand Management
Maintain Pankow's image by overseeing the development and maintenance of all brand marketing efforts for both external and internal audiences
Able to design and produce a variety of documents within Pankow's graphic standardsMonitor quality control of all documents produced from the Marketing teamCreate/review copy for collateral, such as announcements and presentationsDevelop content for newsletters, brochures, electronic mailers and other materials
Communication
Support the Director of Culture and Communications to ensure Pankow maintains a single, consistent voice and brand in all of its communication in alignment with long-term marketing and communications plans
Support the development and reviewing of content and written materials ensuring well-crafted narrative that reflect a fresh and up-to-date message to market, i.e. proposal narrative, press releases, award submittals, presentations, Thought Leadership (website) and social mediaProvide support on a variety of internal and external communications projects that support the strategic and operating goals of the businessProvide sound advice and effective communication; help deliver the right messages to the right audiences in the right way at the right timeAble to use judgment and discretion in communications, including the maintaining of confidentiality in oral and written communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/TrainingBachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be consideredDegree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications preferred
Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesStrong written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills; must be comfortable and effective interacting with Executive Leadership teamAbility to work in a deadline-driven environmentExceptional presentation skills and a high level of comfort communicating with a variety of audiencesDemonstrated skills as a writer/editor with knowledge to work with a wide range of communications vehicles, including video, PowerPoint, social media tools and electronic publicationsProficiency in the following software: Adobe Creative Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PreziGood listening skillsCommitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Work Experience3+ years of progressively responsible communications experienceMust possess the graphic design, critical thinking and communication skills necessary to help develop and translate storyboarded ideas into concrete visual and word metaphors
