Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.The Marketing & Communications Manager will play a critical role in shaping and executing the communications strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement. This position will involve creating, managing, and analyzing content across various digital platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals. This is a fully remote position.Key Responsibilities
:Content Creation and Management
:Serve as the primary author of newsletters; continuously revamp content to engage stakeholders and the public.Collaborate with policy, programs, and affiliate services teams to write/edit content such as comment letters, white papers, research reports, and blog posts.Develop and manage content for marketing campaigns, including meeting/webinar/event promotional materials, website copy, blog posts, membership and development collateral, op-eds, press releases, and other communications materials.Lead content development and production of Podcast.Digital and Social Media Strategy

Create engaging social media content (infographics, posts, videos, etc.) and integrate it with other public-facing content.Manage web presence, including page development, content creation, website edits, and performance analysis.Develop and manage content strategy and calendars across social media platforms.Marketing Campaigns
:
Plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns to achieve participation, engagement, and revenue goals for events, membership, and other services.Create and manage email campaigns, including planning, drafting, and scheduling.Track engagement and deliver monthly reports on campaign performance and recommend changes.Project Management
:
Utilize and update the current marketing communications strategy supporting UCP's mission and strategic objectives.Maintain editorial, graphic, and branding standards for all communications.Prepare speeches and other written pieces in collaboration with the CEO as needed.Assist with the preparation of onsite meeting materials and other event-related tasks.Lead in content creation and speaker recruitment for the Latinos w/Disabilities Conference (currently web-based).Application Process
:Applicants should submit the following items to UCP via kismet.associationconsulting@gmail.com with the subject “Marketing & Communications Manager”:Cover letter describing the applicant’s background in communications and salary requirements.Resume.At least three writing samples or portfolio link.List of three references, including name, title, organization, email address, and telephone number.Bachelor’s degree in one or more of the following disciplines: journalism, communications, marketing, English, creative writing, public relations, or a related field.Excellent writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and social media platforms.Knowledge of Photoshop; familiarity with CRM and e-blast tools, practical experience with SalesForce and WordPress websites preferred.Ability to troubleshoot, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.Experience working in or with non-profits or disability service organizations preferred.Experience in public policy communication is a plus.
