Job Description
Industry: Affordable Property Management
Location: Onsite in Medford, OR.
Hours: Part-Time, M-F, 8 am -2pm
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour DOE
Duration: Contract (1-2 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day property operations.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on work orders.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
- Support lease administration, including renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant communications, rent payments, and maintenance logs.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collection.
- Help market available units and coordinate property showings.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in property management or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) is a plus.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and property regulations.
- Experience working in affordable/LIHTC is a big plus.
- Bilingual Spanish not required but a big plus.
