The Project/Content Specialist will play an integral role in the Creative Team that supports the sales efforts for the K12 education dining sector of Compass Group. This individual will direct large-scale and must-win sales opportunities, creating custom written content and driving the proposal process from RFP receipt and strategy to presentation phase. In addition, this position will drive the development of sales collateral to assist our regional directors in their sales efforts. This position will be based in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage proposal development from strategy to presentation phase, working with the Sales Director and Subject Matter Experts to define and track needs.
* Write, edit, and hone custom content for proposals and special projects to drive sales opportunities.
* Research and develop collateral pieces, as requested, to assist Sales Directors with their sales and marketing efforts
* Liaise with Creative Team designer on overall design, layout, and print concepts in conjunction with Sales Director.
* Handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
* Work in conjunction with fellow Creative Team members to develop best practices and asset library based on successful completed projects.
* Executing templated proposals as the team’s workload and project pipeline requires
* Other responsibilities as defined by management and the needs of the sales teams.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required
* Strong creative/technical writing skills required
* Experience in sales proposal development and strategy
* Solid project management and organizational capabilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Acrobat Pro and full Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Experience and consistent performance in deadline-oriented environment due to timelines and volume of work in heavy proposal seasons
* Experience leveraging AI
* Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge strongly preferred
* Ability to travel approximately 10%
