Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing computational algorithms to solve complex engineering problems related to manufacturing processes, such as quoting, optimization, and quality control. You will also work on extracting geometric features from 2D and 3D CAD models, detecting Design for Manufacturability (DFM) issues, and leveraging machine learning and AI techniques to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Collaboration with operations, product teams, data scientists, and software engineers is essential for integrating solutions into production workflows. Maintaining thorough documentation and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field are also key responsibilities.

Experience with CAD/CAE systems and geometric modeling kernels. Participation in developing 3D modeling applications is a plus. Research background in computational geometry or related fields. Proficiency in linear algebra, calculus, numerical methods, and scientific computation. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials science. Fluent in C++, with experience in Python and cloud platforms is advantageous. Strong documentation skills and adherence to industry standards. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (ITAR).
