Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic supplemental content lead to join our team, ready to dive into new content creation, cross-functional product initiatives, and the development of our innovative educational products. The Content Lead, Math Supplementation will report to Content Manager, Math Supplementation, and will work closely with product leadership and cross-functional product development teams to align, review, and author components of the supplemental product.
*This is a contract position.
Responsibilities of the Content Lead, Math Supplementation:
Collaborate with the content manager on implementing stakeholder and editorial feedback
Support content developers by reviewing authored items and item maps, and providing feedback, sharing ideas and resources, and ensuring consistency across all grade levels
In addition, the Content Lead will also have similar responsibilities to Content Developers on the Math Supplementation team:Design and facilitate digital learning experiences focused on the common core standards
Write and review student-facing and teacher-facing math content
Participate in workshops to design and prototype resources
Meet regularly to collaborate on the development and revisions of resources with the cross-functional product development teams
Commit to creating a representative, equitable product that supports traditionally marginalized students
Basic Qualifications of the Content Lead, Math Supplementation:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience working either (1) in educational settings, with evidence of excellence in mathematics instruction at relevant age levels or (2) at a PK-12 curriculum publishing company, with a focus on elementary mathematics.
Understanding of the K-5 progression of common core standards
3+ months experience with the production process of Amplify's Math Supplementation product
Preferred Qualifications of the Content Lead, Math Supplementation:
Graduate degree in elementary education, mathematics education, or similarly relevant subject area
Experience teaching
and
coaching in a K-5 educational setting
Experience developing or implementing a problem-based curriculum
Experience supporting students with disabilities and English Language Learners
Proven experience working with students of diverse levels of preparation and backgrounds
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this role is $45.
