Digital and Content Marketing Specialist (Contractor)
Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Description
Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) is seeking a skilled marketing partner to support digital and content marketing efforts in collaboration with the full-time Director of Marketing. This Digital and Content Marketing Specialist (Contractor) role is well-suited for a marketing professional with experience in both strategy and execution, capable of shaping marketing initiatives while effectively handling day-to-day tasks. The successful candidate will be able to optimize digital advertising and SEO, manage social media, write blogs and emails, analyze marketing performance, and create promotional materials to support PMAC’s programs and events.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in digital marketing and content creation.
- Experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads.
- Proficient in content management and design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, WordPress).
- Proficient with Google Workspace Products and Asana.
- Strong creative writing and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with PMAC’s internal team.
The successful candidate for this position will be subject to a pre-employment background check.
Duration of Employment: This contract runs through August 2025.
Job Location: Remote, with 2-3 onsite project days per month in Portsmouth, NH
Working Hours: 20 hours per week, with flexibility in working hours.
