Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually
Position: Community Manager for Mount Ridge Apartments in Catonsville, MD.
Role Overview
As the Community Manager, you will manage the apartment community to increase profitability through day-to-day operational and financial management as well as overall resident satisfaction. This property contains 266 units, and the team is comprised of 2 Leasing Specialists, a Service Manager, and 2 Service Technicians.
Annual base salary + bonus + generous rent discount for live-on (if need be) + Health/Dental/Vision/401K + paid training including industry designations + fun company events.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain revenue, expenses, physical and economical occupancy in accordance with the budget and projections.
- Respond to any potential housing violations and liability concerns regarding the property.
- Manage property inspections in accordance with CRC requirements.
- Successfully manage renewals for resident retention goals.
- Assist with coaching and developing all team members.
- Report on weekly traffic trends to capture reasons for leasing and any objections, resulting in regular pricing recommendations.
- Manage outreach marketing efforts throughout the year to assist in traffic generation and building relationships in the community.
- Handle delinquency management.
- Ensure make readies are complete to deliver a quality product in a timely fashion.
- Oversee large capital projects and communicate between multiple departments.
Qualifications
- 3 years of Community Manager experience preferred, including financial reporting and delinquency management.
- 5 years of industry experience.
- Ability to work some Saturdays when necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach team members.
- NALP or CAM certification is a plus.
- Ability to effectively write reports and business correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle resident issues.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
