As a Technical Writer, you will create clear, user-friendly documentation and content that helps customers understand and effectively use our products. You will focus on developing content for our products, product integrations, and apps, ensuring it meets the needs of both internal and external users. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex information. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other team members to produce documentation that supports product adoption and enhances user experience. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Product Documentation.ResponsibilitiesDesign, create, and publish content that is clear, accurate, and easy to understandDevelop and maintain technical and feature documentation for a range of audiences, including commercial end-users and enterprise adminsEnsure timely delivery of content that aligns with product releases and quality standardsCollaborate with internal teams, such as engineers and product managers, to gather information and incorporate feedback into documentationUse feedback and data to make informed content decisions and improve documentationContribute to content standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and clarityLead individual projects effectively, meeting deadlines and balancing multiple tasksReview and revise existing content to ensure it meets current standards and user needsJob Designation
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)What you bring
Basic2+ years of experience in technical writing or a related fieldExperience with creating technical documentation, preferably in a high-tech environment (i.e., SaaS, software, or hardware)Experience with Google WorkspacePreferredStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenExperience writing for a variety of audiences, including enterprise customersFamiliarity with structured-authoring frameworks or tools (e.g., DITA)Ability to use feedback to improve content and contribute to documentation qualityWage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $83,500.00 - $120,900.00 base salaryIllinois and Colorado: $79,100.00 - $102,800.00 base salaryWashington and New York (including NYC metro area): $79,100.00 - $108,550.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for bonus and
