Title: Event Planner

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC, 27709

Schedule: In-office 3 days/week, remote 2 days/week

Responsibilities:

• Join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC, as an Events Planner. Our division connects innovation, customers, partners, and agricultural experts, integrating sustainability into all business decisions.
• Support farmers by delivering outcomes that balance economic, environmental, and social value for sustainable and efficient agriculture.
• Manage, plan, and execute multiple complex events supporting the APN business in the USA, including high-quality events utilizing digital platforms and technology.
• Ensure event logistics align with results-focused execution, managing stakeholder expectations, and identifying improvements to the events strategy. Travel up to 25% overnight as needed.
• Plan and manage large-scale tradeshows, customer events, internal conferences, and media events to create exceptional experiences aligned with business goals.
• Oversee logistics such as venue selection, contracts, agendas, AV needs, catering, transportation, sponsorships, decor, signage, collateral, and event reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or certification in event or meeting planning, or equivalent experience.
• Over four years of experience in event management, preferably in a corporate or large venue setting.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple events simultaneously.
• Experience managing mid- to large-sized budgets, negotiating with vendors, and understanding contractual obligations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining composure under pressure.
• Adaptability to changing demands and high organization to meet deadlines.
• Experience with event registration systems and mobile app platforms.
