Cellcosmet Luxury Skincare Social Media and Community Manager - FT
We are looking to expand our US team with an experienced, out-of-the-box, passionate social media & content manager (LOCATED IN THE NYC AREA) to join Cellcosmet and run all things social. You will work directly with the GM and US team and will own the strategy and positioning of the brand across our entire social presence. You will also work with external partners to help bring the brand to life in big ways.
You should have an innate passion for keeping your finger on the pulse of what is happening in beauty and lifestyle industries that relate to skincare, skin health, and luxury beauty. You will be engaging with, amplifying, and celebrating a Swiss Luxury brand, with 35+ years of scientific history, to revitalize, rejuvenate and protect the health of our skin as we age.
You possess strong skills in the creation as well as curation of strategic multi-platform content, performance tracking, online engagement, project management, and team communication. Ever curious and active in a variety of social platforms, you are fluent in the best practices of Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest for starters. You have demonstrated your ability to write social content that attracts attention with the ability to problem solve situations, collaborate across teams, and pivot as needed.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy. You will be responsible for helping to breathe social-first thinking into everything we do.
- Design and implement platform-specific content that aligns with overall Cellcosmet business goals (e.g., awareness, lead generation, engagement, UGC, learn more about our customer, cultivate creator relations, and conversions) while aligning with the brand’s narrative, personality, and tone.
- Identify opportunities to produce storytelling initiatives, including short and long-form videos, social videos, influencer campaigns, co-branded campaigns or content, and production of on/offline events.
- Collaborate with designer and copywriter as needed on creation of diverse content.
- Build out and update social media content publishing calendar, obtaining approval for key stakeholders. Use brand guidance to write copy, ensuring content is informative and appealing.
- Engage our followers and truly bring our brand to life. Be the “voice of the brand” on social, participating in real-time conversations that surround our content and the brand.
- Establish KPIs for tracking/measuring success and growth (e.g., engagement rates, follower counts, etc.).
- Manage external partners to ensure flawless execution of campaigns and activations.
- Activate brand advocates and influencer brand strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Ensure questions, comments and related opportunities are handled with a well-executed, high-touch experience. Collaborate with Customer Service on questions relating to order inquiry, website problems, or product consultation.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and YTD reporting and analysis of social KPIs, including follower growth, engagement, conversation amplification, creative performance, UGC growth, and identifying potential new leads to cultivate across social platforms.
- Stay up to date on new social media tools, best practices, competitive activity and other social media leaders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years related experience leading social media channels and working on creative and innovative social media campaigns for a brand. Deep affinity with brand, especially in beauty (skincare), health and wellness, and other lifestyle categories.
- Proven record of growing a social following, and more importantly engagement.
- Comfortable writing copy and creating content (copy, video, graphics) with editorial/visual skills is a big plus!
- Ability to collect, analyze, and use social data to inform decision making and track KPIs.
- Fluency and confidence across a variety of social platforms — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (1st tier); Pinterest, Reddit, and other platforms (2nd tier) to meet our fans wherever they may be spending their time.
- Experience running influencer (micro) and creator campaigns and how they can be used to extend brand reach and awareness.
- Appreciation for how brands should use social to show up authentically.
- Deep understanding of how paid and organic content and strategies work together.
- Flexible, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
