Mansueto Ventures is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic HR intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our People & Culture department daily activities and departmental goals. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in human resources, this paid internship will grant you the opportunity to explore many areas of HR such as recruiting, employee relations, training, benefits, compensation and payroll.
Hourly rate: $16 per hour. This position is 20-25 hours per week with three in-office days at 7WTC on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Update our internal databases with employee information
Screen resumes and application forms for entry level positions
Support HR initiative when it comes to Diversity Equity & Inclusion
Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks
Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
Prepare HR-related reports, Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents as needed
Openly share new ideas and information with other team members
Organize and draft HR toolkits, guides, resources for employees and create process manuals
Perform other related work as needed
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Pursing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to take initiative based on observation
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong team player with the ability to share knowledge and collaborate effectively.
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
