Key Responsibilities:
Assist in all sketching seasonal assortment, creating accurate seasonal tech packs, tech pack updates, sketch updates, and line sheets under the direction of the Designer.Assist the Designer in creating the product collections at the beginning of each season for specific category/categoriesResearch and assist in creating new brand-right silhouettes and detailsSupport the designer by preparing necessary visual tools (i.e. sketches, line sheets, presentation in Google slides, fabric swatches, color standards, etc)Email daily communication to Agent/Vendor officesAssist in coordinating category samples and cads for line review and Line CoordinationAttend Fit sessionsPartner and communicate with TD/Sourcing to ensure accurate translation of design intent.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field preferred.1-2 years of experience in a design or product development-related position for a fashion retailer.Experience with sweater design is preferred.Some background in fit, fabric development, finishes, and construction details is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Prior experience with PLM, Adobe Illustrator, and Kaleidostyle preferred.Excellent organizational skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to build and sustain relationships quickly.
Pay Details:
$21.00 to $23.00 per hour
