About Us: Modera is a boutique marketing agency specializing in health and wellness based in Orange, CA. We help mission-driven healthcare brands—from Medicare Advantage plans and provider groups to concierge medicine —connect more meaningfully with their patients, members, and communities. Role Overview: The Marketing Account Manager serves as the day-to-day contact for healthcare clients, managing campaigns from concept to completion. This role ensures projects are on strategy, on time, and on budget, while helping clients navigate the complex healthcare marketing landscape. You’ll be both a
strategic thinker and a detail-oriented executor , bridging client needs with internal creative, digital, and strategy teams. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a primary client contact, building strong relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and industry insight Develop marketing plans and timelines in collaboration with internal teams Brainstorming new ideas to answer client objectives Manage end-to-end execution of multi-channel campaigns (print, digital, social, paid media, events) Ensure all deliverables meet brand guidelines, regulatory requirements (e.g., CMS, HIPAA where relevant), and client expectations Write creative briefs, review work, and route for client approvals Monitor budgets and timelines, escalating issues proactively Analyze campaign performance and present insights to clients Collaborate with project managers, designers and media teams to deliver seamless execution Stay up to date on healthcare trends, compliance issues, and audience behaviors Requirements: 3–5 years of account management experience, preferably in an agency or healthcare setting Strong understanding of healthcare marketing—Medicare, provider marketing, patient engagement experience a plus Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Comfortable juggling multiple accounts and deadlines Skilled in client presentation and relationship building Critical thinking skills, a natural problem-solver Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field Nice to Have: Experience with compliance-heavy campaigns (e.g., CMS regulations) Familiarity with audience segmentation for seniors, caregivers, or specific patient populations Spanish fluency or multicultural marketing experience Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Teamwork) and marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Meta Ads Manager) 401k Employer-sponsored Health insurance Seniority level
