A Day in the Life:
The Graphic Designer will join our high-performing team Marketing team that acts as the in-house marketing agency for a rapidly growing organization. The main function of this role is developing assets as the in-house graphic designer for multiple internal accounts and you'll also assist with online digital assets, including an award-winning website and email marketing.Job Requirements
:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or similar related field and five years of professional experience
Expert graphic design skills and understanding of marketing principles and best practices related to graphic design
Proficient in Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesign
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
Comfortable presenting and discussing creative concepts with internal clients
Ability to view task list at high level to help Account Managers identify priorities and quick to speak up and troubleshoot conflicting priorities
Calm, cool, and flexible to juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment and identify priorities
Strong team player comfortable with working independently
Self-motivated, innovative, positive attitude and always looking to learn and improve
A bonus: knowledge of HTML for website and e-mails
Creative Design/Brand Management
Collaborate closely with Account Managers to create engaging designs for various audiences across 20 internal accounts
Act as brand steward to ensure all assets reflect our well-known brand
Develop content including signage, newsletters, event invitations, flyers, occasional ads, web and email images, icons, infographics, annual report and provide design support for promotions, campaigns and internal communications
Communicate about layout, design and timing throughout production, review and correct errors and strive to continuously enhance quality while meeting deadlines
Juggle multiple projects and be able to flex with ease
Cultivate relationships with printing vendors and oversee production quality
Digital Assets
Email Communications
Build visually engaging emails in Luminate software (coding knowledge a plus but not necessary) and review for accuracy
Work closely with Account Managers to execute annual email plan
Manage updates of e-signatures for organization
Website Management
Create landing pages and assist with edits in WordPress to ensure effective, timely and accurate communication of information
UX knowledge a plus
Regularly monitor website for accuracy and adherence to brand standards
Help troubleshoot issues with external web developer
Other Digital Responsibilities
Manage organization listings on multiple sites (Yelp, Google, etc.). Regularly monitor and make changes to ensure accuracy
Assist with marketing dashboard, TV monitor software, create forms and other light tech-related duties when assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; occasional wet floors, and animal noises, odors and dander.
