The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the operation and performance of marketing systems such as content management system, contact relationship management, experience database and email marketing. The coordinator maintains a series of marketing platforms to achieve quality data, relationship tracking, and list management, while ensuring compliance with firm protocols and email regulatory requirements.
Phelps Dunbar LLP is seeking a dynamic and organized Marketing Coordinator with a focus on supporting our firm's events. This position will support all marketing and business development projects and day-to-day activities related to the firm's practice groups, and individual attorneys.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Event Coordination:
Assist in the planning, execution, and management of client facing events, including seminars, conferences, client appreciation events, and internal gatherings. Responsibilities include event logistics, including planning, promotional item ordering, staffing, set-up and takedown, processing CLE, and more.Promotion and Advertising:
Implement promotional strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement. This includes managing email campaigns and updating website content.Event Support : Develop event timelines and keep event planning and deliverables on track. Create and send event invitations and agendas, and file for CLE deliverables. Assist with the creation of event nametags, signage, PowerPoints, handouts, digital content and other event collateral.Event Tracking and ROI Analysis:
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of event marketing strategies. Collect and analyze data related to event attendance, participant feedback, and overall satisfaction to determine event success and return on investment.Marketing Communications : Assist with writing and editing content consistent with AP and firm style while serving as the internal point of contact for distribution. Update firm webpages via CMS including service, industry, firm descriptions, biographies, and other pages as assigned. Maintain and update the Marketing & Business Development team's intranet pages.Administrative Tasks:
Handle administrative duties related to event management, including budget tracking, invoice processing, and maintaining a calendar of events.Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in marketing or event planning, preferably in a professional services or legal environment.Qualifications and Skills Required:
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with event management software and CRM platforms like HubSpot.A team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail.
