Job Description: We are looking for a Director of Media Partnerships for dentsu's media practice. You will sit at the intersection of dentsu's media agencies (Carat, iProspect and dentsuX), clients, investment and activation communities, and Amplifi, the commercial innovation arm for dentsu. The team translates dentsu's client needs, the strategic and commercial goals of dentsu itself, and trends across the industry and society into strategic, value-driven, and beneficial partnerships. You will also help set the strategic agenda for partnerships for dentsu in the marketplace, in new business and in product/solution design within dentsu. You will report to our VP, Media Partnerships, with the potential to grow a junior team, though you will begin as an individual contributor. You will be hybrid in either New York, Chicago or Fort Worth, as there will be in person responsibilities to meet with partners in those markets. Responsibilities: Build relationships with specialized partners in the market, distributing relevant information to management where needed across dentsu. Support the VP, Partnerships to build market strategy. Work between Investment & Activation teams and Amplifi to ensure partnership approach meets the needs of our clients and drives value. Manage daily deal terms and communication of partnerships, ensuring excellence in execution. Inform and educate Investment & Activation teams on partner deal terms and push new testing and value opportunities to Investment & Activation teams. Help create and execute dentsu and client Joint-Business-Plans and ensure all negotiated value is capitalized on. Help develop important partnership themes and lead in external communications of these in market (panels, PR, articles). Provide consistent communication and organization of partnership information to teams and management to capture all the nuanced detail of these commercial agreements and keep on track for deal progression. Participate in new business as subject-matter-expert in your respective area and/or Partnership leader on value proposition for potential client. Qualifications: 8 years' experience within the digital industry as a partnership or investment lead at a large media agency or partner. Exceptional project management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Excellent presentation and analytical skills; must be comfortable working with and presenting metrics to VPs. Passion for problem-solving and collaboration across teams. Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable solutions. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
