Are you ready to be part of something big?Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Manager drives field level offer development and marketing support activities in assigned region. The LMM serves as the regional subject matter expert (SME) for optimizing and executing promotional offers and works directly with store General Managers (GMs) to plan and coordinate monthly offers as well as maximize effectiveness and report on ongoing marketing activities.
The LMM supports the Marketing Director in media planning, budget development, communications and campaign administration activities, local activations, Process Assessment Evaluations for instore marketing programs and communication with their designated stores. The LMM also assists the Marketing Director in managing agency and third-party service provider initiatives.
The person also collects, analyzes, and publishes market intelligence insights to GMs and marketing Channel Directors.
The manager is ultimately accountable for ensuring related quality; brand and legal compliance standards are achieved.
The LMM assists the development and documentation of regional market plans as well as assures alignment with the national marketing calendar.
LMM provides strategic advice to the Marketing Director and is the primary department contact for Regional Management and General Managers for merchandising related topics or initiatives.
The Manager is principally responsible for developing local merchandising offer content and cross media activation. In addition, the LMM functions as a field level advocate for corporate marketing and branding initiatives.
Organizational Relationships:The LMM develops and maintains productive relationships with field management and functional areas.
The manager also works extensively with corporate marketing functions and third party service providers. In addition, the individual also assist development and ongoing management of strategic partnerships with third party product and service providers.Job Responsibilities:Manage offer campaign planning, design, production and activation activities at the field level Manage
and facilitate monthly cross functional planning meetings while ensuring
deliverable timelines are met Drive implementation of OEM, legal and AutoNation guidelines as well
as ensure overall compliance Drive field level activation of national campaigns, events and brand development initiatives Develop/maintain a field level market intelligence collection and competitive pricing tracking processes Develop/maintain documented local Merchandising/Media Inserts Calendar. Ensure alignment w/national plan Engage corporate team, agencies and partners to build and maintain an inventory of product/service offers Facilitate development of integrated local and national campaigns while driving cross channel adoption Facilitate development and administer style guides, template, processes, content development and tools Facilitate monthly campaign communications to General Mangers, Market Presidents and Regional managers Facilitate campaign analysis and refinement activities to optimize overall merchandising effectiveness and results Assist the acquisition, negotiation and ongoing engagement with strategic promotional partners Administer assigned budget items and assure expenses are being managed effectively Demonstrate and advocate company vision, mission, and values. Adhere to company policies and procedures
Provide direct support to RMD and market leadership team for field marketing related activities. Other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required.
MBA is preferred Marketing management experience (5 years +) required.
Prior agency account services experience preferred. Demonstrated campaign, copy, marketing communications and brand development skills Demonstrated project management and marketing process administration competencies Demonstrated marketing forecasting, analysis and budget administration experience Demonstrated ability to work and influence decisions in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment Experience utilizing and administering job management systems is preferred Expert level
