As a Scent Design Manager, you will be responsible for developing creative strategies and leading regional projects as well as having some global project exposure. In this role, you will further develop business knowledge, potentially leveraging consumer feedback, and grow technical expertise, increasing IFF's ability to win in the marketplace. You will utilize internal processes/programs/tools to support the overall Beauty Care business strategy.About You:

Partnering with Perfumers to design/ create fragrance solutions against Beauty Care briefs and initiative objectivesDeveloping, driving, & executing olfactive strategies to support the success of the Beauty Care regional/category businessUtilizing existing experience in product/ fragrance developmentManaging fragrance selection and identifying new winning themes for incoming briefsKnowing how to effectively screen down fragrance themes against project objectivesEnsuring timeline and budget requirements are metArticulating clearly project process from beginning to end, including having the story telling skills to present to customers (internal/ external)Strong project management skills, communicating with various functions (perfumers, consumer insights, marketing, scent technology, commercial, management, etc.)Leveraging potential cross category fragrance themes for Beauty Care projectsLeveraging IFF's Scent Portfolio for optimal efficiency in project workWilling to discuss and co-design consumer testing methods, questionnaires, etc. and applying the output insights from studies into creative developmentUnderstanding the market trends and shifts, and be able to partner with marketing on regular basis to share olfactive and brand knowledgeCreating and facilitating olfactive/ fragrance trainingsEnsuring personal development is a priority, aligning to IFF's category and business objectives
Job RequirementsRequired ExperienceBachelor's degree / Masters degree, preferably in Science or BusinessExcellent olfactive capabilities (candidates will be required to complete internal smelling test)3+ years of industry experience (fragrance house or consumer goods company)Beauty Care, personal Care development preferredProject Management experience, with fragrance/ product development
