Lower School Library Assistant (Starting August 2025)
St. John's School is seeking a talented, energetic, and knowledgeable part-time Lower School
Library Assistant who has a passion for and knowledge of children's literature.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with the Lower School Librarian in the daily operations of this vital learning
space, ensuring its smooth organization and efficiency.
•Execute essential tasks such as processing new materials and other clerical functions as
needed.
•Collaborate with parent volunteers to help with special events and various visual displays
in the library.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree preferred
•Experience in an elementary program preferred
•Excellent computer literacy skills, including proficiency in the Google suite
•Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment and a commitment to developing
one's own cultural competency in a community that celebrates and appreciates diversity.
