Redbubble & TeePublic Marketplaces
Redbubble and TeePublic have recently been brought together under one structure called Marketplaces. Through redbubble.com and teepublic.com, independent artists are able to reach a new universe of adoring fans and profit from their creativity. Our community of passionate creatives sell uncommon designs on high-quality everyday products such as apparel, stationery, housewares, bags and wall art. For the artists' customers, it's the ultimate in self-expression. A simple but meaningful way to show the world who they are and what they care about.
Welcome to a place that will celebrate your achievements, celebrate you solving the hard problems not just the fixes and celebrate you rapidly getting to the core of the issue rather than striving for the perfect answer.
The Role
We are seeking a performance-driven Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead and scale our LCM programs across Redbubble and TeePublic. This strategic leader will develop and execute revenue-generating initiatives that enhance customer retention and lifetime value (LTV) across all lifecycle marketing channels, including email, SMS, push, in-app, and marketing automation.
With an expertise in ESPs, CDPs, and analytics platforms, you’ll collaborate with Product, Creative, and Data teams to drive cohesive, data-backed marketing experiences. A strong foundation in forecasting, modelling, and performance analytics will be essential in shaping the lifecycle roadmap, optimizing engagement strategies, and driving measurable growth.
We are looking for someone who can effectively create change, develop and execute data-driven strategies, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies to drive revenue, retention, and LTV, optimizing engagement across email, SMS, push, in-app, on-site, and automation.
- Build and maintain a data-driven roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing cross-channel strategies.
- Lead and mentor two LCM teams—one for Redbubble and another for TeePublic—implementing best practices while tailoring strategies to each brand’s unique audience.
- Oversee marketing technology platforms (ESPs, CDPs), driving optimization, migrations, and integrations with Product, Creative, and Data teams.
- Leverage forecasting, predictive modeling, and analytics to inform strategy, define benchmarks, and optimize investment in lifecycle marketing.
- Partner with Product and Data teams to implement event tracking, data warehousing, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Implement A/B testing and experimentation to refine messaging, targeting, and customer engagement.
- Monitor performance metrics across channels, providing strategic insights and continuous optimization recommendations.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing within DTC, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses, including 4+ years in a leadership role managing teams across all customer lifecycle stages.
- Proven track record of driving revenue, retention, and LTV through multi-channel LCM programs.
- Expertise in ESP platforms like Iterable and Braze, and CDP platforms like Segment and Simon Data, with strong knowledge of data warehouses and analytics event tracking.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimize campaigns based on insights.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working closely with stakeholders to drive cohesive strategies and present complex concepts to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies at scale, while maintaining a hands-on approach when needed.
