Are you pursuing an Information Technology or Audio Visual career and looking for an internship experience to supplement courses you may be taking? Jackson Healthcare, located in Alpharetta, is offering an exciting AV Internship opportunity!
As an AV Intern you will assist our AV & Collaboration Platform Engineer and Support Team with Conference Room and Event setup and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role you'll need to be an excellent communicator who can earn a client's trust by employing fast-thinking problem solving skills, work well under pressure, and be familiar with AV Basics and popular platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. You must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to provide excellent customer support during meetings and events.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :Assist customers with various meeting types in different conference room settingsTroubleshoot issues before and during meetings and eventsWork with the Support Center to assist with incidents and requestsMake recommendations to customers as it relates to event setupAssist the Desktop and Mobility Team during low-event days
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and ZoomUnderstanding of Basic AV functionality (Cameras, Mics, TVs, Projectors, additional hardware and software)Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsWork well under pressure and in front of an audienceMulti-tasking abilitiesFamiliarity with our industry is a plus
