Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales and Marketing Specialist to support our continued growth. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for sales, marketing, and economic development. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in client acquisition, revenue growth, and audience engagement through our print and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Economic Development Agencies and corporate decision-makers along with managing an existing high producing territory.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering customized marketing solutions.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations that align with client needs.
- Analyze digital marketing campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and economic development news.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or 3+ years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in economic development, publishing, or B2B marketing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Understanding of digital marketing, advertising, and content-driven sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the economic development landscape and site selection process is a plus.
