You'll join and lead a talented team with high impact, which designs high-performance and efficient ML training, data and feature engineering infrastructure, in order to power the most critical and revenue-generating ad delivery models at Pinterest.What you'll do:Collaborate with stakeholders and partner teams across the organization to architect ads ML feature infrastructure solutions to unlock Pinterest ads models innovations.Mentor engineers to develop their careers and achieve their goals, from early career through senior level, setting the technical vision, guiding the day-to-day execution, as well as fostering good team health and culture.Lead the team to build the next-generation Pinterest Ads ML training and data foundation infrastructure. Opportunities to follow scaling laws to use cutting edge ML technologies including GPU, Feature Store and LLMs to 100x bigger models.Act as a stalwart of technical quality and excellence on the team, ensuring the solutions we deliver have a high level of polish and reliability.What we're looking for:5+ years of management experience managing a team beyond 15 people.10+ years of relevant industry experience in leading the design of large scale & production ML infra systems. Such as feature store, model serving or training framework.Deep knowledge with building distributed systems or recommendation infrastructure.Strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator.Strong people development skills. You have helped people grow in their careers and team to demonstrate bigger impact.
