You'll support our programming studio engineer and Broadcast Studio Engineer II, contributing to a seamless and efficient work environment across all audio systems. What will you do?

1. Assist the Director of Service Excellence and Studio Architect with maintenance, installation, and modification of EMF broadcast studios, production environment, and media applications at various sites.
2. Help Studio Engineers with audio/video and network wiring, including wire pulling, connector termination, and testing.
3. Fabricate audio, video, and control wiring following EMF standards.
4. Develop documentation for wiring and infrastructure systems.
5. Install new broadcast and production equipment.
6. Install computer KVM systems and VGA signal distribution.
7. Support ISDN and VoIP interview setups and sessions.
8. Assist with streaming and presentation support in various rooms, responding quickly to department needs.
9. Maintain and manage MAC OS X and DAW systems like Pro Tools.
10. Support broadcast automation systems.
11. Help On-Air Talent troubleshoot microphone, device, and automation issues.
12. Be on call for urgent broadcast facility problems.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

1. AA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
2. At least 2 years of experience with broadcast studio technology or related education.
3. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledge of media production, audio/video equipment, and asset delivery.
5. Experience with broadcast automation, FTP, HTTP, Mac OS X, and audio software like Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, etc.
6. Skills in hardware repair, wiring, and studio setup.
7. Familiarity with networking on Windows and Mac.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
9. Experience supporting 24x7 operations is a plus.
10. Understanding of industry best practices and broadcasting trends.
11. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
