POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Intern will assist the Director of Marketing & Marketing Coordinators in creating various promotional content for Erie Events facilities while supporting event's needs. This includes but is not limited to: Social, email, web, print, photography, and videography. Additionally, he/she will write copy and gather analytics for active social media campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS: Junior or Senior enrolled in a university majoring in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field. Strong desire to learn along with professional drive Excellent verbal and written communication skill Excellent knowledge of MS Office & social media platforms Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hive, Mailchimp, Hootsuite) Passion for the marketing & entertainment industry and its best practices Flexible schedule and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional efforts (ex: social media, email, web, etc.) Assist marketing department in photography & videography of events Works with team members to evaluate current marketing efforts. Designs marketing materials on an as needed basis. Write copy for social media campaigns. Collect analytics of social media & email campaigns and website analytics. Support team with administrative tasks as needed. Aids in market analysis & research on current industry trends. Complete end of internship presentation to leadership at Erie Events. Other duties as assigned.
