The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a
Development and Communications Program Manager.
The position is a full time, non-exempt position with benefits, working general office hours with some evening and weekend work.

Who we areThe City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is a department that showcases destination drivers in Chandler through the Chandler Center for the Arts, Chandler Museum, Downtown, Public Art, Special Events, and Vision Gallery. The Chandler Cultural Foundation, a nonprofit management board, presents comprehensive arts programs at the Chandler Center for the Arts, Vision Gallery and in the community.
Who we are looking forOur new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Management, Arts Administration, Mass Communications, Business, or related field along with 5 years of recent experience working in related progressively responsible positions including at least 2 years of supervisory experience. This position coordinates and oversees the strategies to maintain and increase contributed revenue to support the Chandler Center for the Arts, the Vision Gallery, and satellite community programs presented by the Chandler Cultural Foundation (501c3).

Minimum qualifications• A bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Arts Administration, Mass Communications, Business, or related field; and• 5 years of recent experience working in related progressively responsible positions which include at least two (2) years of supervisory experience; and• A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired qualifications• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in Non-Profit Management, Arts Administration, Mass Communications, Business, or related field.• Three or more years of successful fundraising experience at a senior level in a nonprofit enterprise, preferably in a performing or visual arts setting.• Strong experience in grant-writing, data mining and strategic prospect development desired.• Demonstrated personal computers (PC) skills in the use of specialized fund-raising software desired.
This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
