Description
The technical training designer is responsible for designing, developing, and administering in person and online training, materials, and resources utilized within Paycom's Technology departments and onboarding development new hires.
RESPONSIBILITIESConduct onboarding for Technology new hires
Lead campus tour for development new hiresAssist new hires in ensuring equipment is set up for development new hire on first day to complete required trainingServe as point of contact and provide touchpoints, and department onboarding training to development new hires during their first three weeks of employment
Assist development new hires in preparation for team placement meeting(s)Collaborate with Technology leadership, stakeholders, and subject matter experts for training content creationCreate and edit video footageCreate and update courses in Paycom's learning management systemDeploy and analyze surveys as requested by department leadershipEdit audiovisual content within the scope of the stakeholder's goals, deliverables, and scheduleAssist in maintaining training paths and specific content for new and existing positions where training and learning courses are requiredMaintain footage archive ensuring it is properly organized, labeled, and tagged with metadataPerform other duties as assignedQualifications
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degreeExperience:
Proficient in Microsoft OfficePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Video editing on any platform or softwareSkills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and listening skillsStrong facilitation and communication skillsAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyComfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environmentDetail oriented
