Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google Continue with Google JUNK Brands is seeking a sharp, organized, and creative marketing team leader to oversee the marketing planning and campaign execution across our JUNK Brands business. You’ll be the connective tissue between brand strategy, new product category launches, and channel activations—ensuring that every campaign lands on time, on brand, and with impact.

You’ll work closely with internal creative, sales, and operations teams as well as agencies to build campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue across every channel in our consumer, custom, and wholesale businesses. This is a highly collaborative, fast-moving role that requires both strategic clarity and executional excellence as well as a history of leading people directly or through influence to drive business results and professional growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Lead the ideation, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with the creative and digital teams Ensure campaigns align with brand positioning, business objectives, and retail partner goals. Manage timelines, deliverables, and execution strategies to maximize impact across retail channels.
Global Marketing Calendar & Campaign Management
Own and manage the Global Marketing Calendar, ensuring alignment across internal teams, retailers, and business units. Develop structured messaging and promotional cadences to support product launches, seasonal pushes, and partnership opportunities.
Channel Marketing Coordination & Execution
Act as the hub and driver of all campaign planning with peers, agencies, and channel leads across SEM, Performance, Content, Social Media, Affiliate, Ambassador, Sponsorships and Partners, Marketplaces, and emerging channels
Social Media & Retail Brand Presence
Develop and manage social media content strategies tailored to JUNK ICPs, ensuring engagement across key platforms. Coordinate with social and partnership team on cross-promotional opportunities, influencer collaborations, and sponsored content initiatives.
JUNK Brands Web Properties
Oversee JUNK web experiences related to campaign deployment and overall customer journey experience. Work with internal digital teams to optimize website performance and user experience.
Performance Reporting & KPI Development
Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of campaigns, advertising, partnerships, and sponsorships. Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data to refine future strategies.
Press & Industry Communications
Coordinate press releases and industry-facing announcements to highlight brand initiatives, new product launches, and retail partnerships. Work with PR teams and industry publications to maximize brand visibility and thought leadership.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Stay informed on market dynamics, competitive activity, advertising trends, and industry news. Leverage insights to continuously refine marketing strategies.
Skills And Competencies
Deep understanding of Direct to Consumer marketing channels, tactics, and strategies to generate exposure and brand awareness. Proven success as a leader working through professional development, goal setting, and campaign objectives to achieve and measure work and success. Ability to take in information from digital, sales, customer feedback, the competitive landscape, and other sources to develop cohesive marketing campaigns for mass messaging and partnerships. Clear understanding of DTC marketing KPIs and how to use them to share campaign results. Driven by customer research and insights to build customer focused marketing campaigns. Strong communications skills sharing campaign strategy and learnings with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to inspire and motivate teammates cross-functionally towards goals and objectives. Internally driven and motivated. Detail oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Creative and critical thinking Ability to juggle numerous tasks and deliver assets effectively through teamwork.
Education And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution, emphasis in marketing preferred. 3-5 years of related marketing experience across a range of marketing disciplines Some experience in the apparel space ideal History of leadership, reports, or leading peers through influence and traceable accountability Ability to travel 5-10%. Generally short overnight trips to meet shows, customers, occasional longer trips to multi-day events or tradeshows. Proven history with concept development and creative direction Outgoing, connective, growth-minded Interest in the business and sectors where we sell with an understanding of business objectives Intermediate to advanced understanding of marketing tools and platforms: Office 365 and Mac OSX, Google Ads, Analytics, Meta & TikTok Business Managers, HubSpot, Klaviyo, and similar services for CRM in direct and performance marketing channels. Comfortable with social media platform management
Physical / Mental Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend, and move inside the office to access files and product. Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery. The person in this position frequently communicates internally and externally and must be able to exchange accurate detailed information in a clear, professional manner.
