Purpose of Role
Responsible for leading end-to-end content strategy for performance-driven digital surfaces. Owns the strategy and execution for critical content touchpoints including paid and organic landing pages, app and product copy, help center articles, marketing emails, and content in the application funnel. Drives engagement, conversion, and customer understanding through content that is clear, compliant, and compelling.
Expectations
- Defines and drives a content strategy that supports growth, experimentation, and funnel performance across digital properties.
- Writes, designs, and optimizes high-performing content for key surfaces including paid/organic landing pages, application microcopy, lifecycle email/SMS, and Help Center.
- Partners with digital marketing, UX, and data to test, measure, and iterate on content variations to improve engagement, education, and lead conversion.
- Utilizes AI tools to support content ideation, drafting, editing, tagging, and optimization workflows including scaling variations for testing, generating alternate formats, or prioritizing updates based on performance signals.
- Operates as a hands-on contributor ensuring content aligns with sprint cadence, legal/compliance workflows, and evolving business goals.
- Serves as a trusted content partner to Legal and Compliance by ensuring all published content meets regulatory, consent order, and accessibility requirements.
- Translates complex financial topics into content that empowers and educates older adult homeowners, helping them navigate digital experiences with confidence.
- Uses analytics (e.g., GA4, Power BI) and qualitative feedback to measure effectiveness and prioritize content updates and enhancements.
- Maintains strong alignment with brand voice and design system (Symphony), while contributing to reusable content patterns and modular content strategies.

Qualifications – Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
Qualifications – Education – Field(s)/Profession(s)
- English, Communications or related field.
Qualifications – Experience/Skills/Competencies
- Minimum 8 years in digital content strategy, content marketing, or UX writing, ideally within financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Legal and Compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-first approach to digital content, and ability to simplify complex topics and communicate a shared vision across the organization.
- Experience using AI tools to support content ideation, drafting, editing, tagging, and optimization workflows.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, building consensus, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, WordPress, Power BI, Google Analytics and other content management and analytics tools.
- Experience in content personalization and digital marketing optimization.
- Data-driven strategist who iterates based on insights rather than assumptions.
- Balances creativity with business judgment to craft compelling and impactful content.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategy.
- Experience with SEO, accessibility (ADA/WCAG), conversion-driven content, and personalization to enhance digital engagement.
- Background in financial literacy or educational content creation is a plus.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is ($140,000 - $160,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
