The Senior Producer must be a seasoned journalist and creative problem solver with previous experience in live television news. They should also have experience in crafting dynamic live segments, guest booking and a deep understanding of the building and timing of a rundown. The desired candidate will also need to be a strong writer and have experience in helping producers craft and write pieces. Management experience is a must. This person should have an interest in developing recurring series for the show on topics like pop culture, wellness and pocketbook issues and should be good at taking the main news stories of the day and determining alternative ways to expand upon them. This senior producer will work very closely with the Senior Broadcast Producer and Executive Producer of the show.
