and leading designer of luxury candles and artisan made accessories, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time, hourly, and hybrid opportunity as a Graphic Designer-who will assist with the development, operational, and administrative functions relating to the 2D product development process, and create original illustrations and packaging designs, while assisting with in-person tasks and outbound sample requests.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Project ManagementCommunicate 2D project details and updates using project management softwareFollow project calendars and communicate status updates to ensure deadlines are being metCollect and document 2D assigned sections of BOM (Bill of Materials)Other duties as neededDesignCreate original illustrations & packaging designs for new candle products that meet product/project scopeCreate effective presentations and sales tools based on project requirementsResearch home décor, packaging, and beauty trendsDesign within project limitationsCreate physical & digital prototype mock ups of packaging designs & candlesCreate packaging files for vendor quotes & production submission for 2D Coordinator & 2D Manager approvalOther duties as assignedDevelopmentCreate final packaging images on BOMs and upload them to D365Gather or create physical mockups of packaging for outbound customer samplesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred. Associate degree with direct experience and strong portfolio consideredCompetency in Adobe CC Suite & MS Office for MacExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional, career oriented and self-motivatedMust be creative, detail oriented, and highly organized with a problem solver mindsetShould have a strong portfolio demonstrating knowledge of composition, layout, and typography, packaging production and structureIllustration or traditional artistic skills are preferredBasic knowledge of photography & editing basics
