Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking a Civil Designer/Drafter to join a growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery/Substation professionals in St. Louis Park, MN. This candidate will be a part of a team that provides drafting support for large and small scale grading projects. Responsible for working with designs that need to be labeled, adding notes, looking at contour lines, grading, plans and elevations, references and building sheet sets. As well as generating sections needed from 2D plan views, vertical visuals, and section views.
Required Skills & Experience:
~1 year proficient with 2D plan views and CAD Drafting/Design
~ Experience within a Power Delivery background
Preferred Skills & Experience:
~ Associates or technical school degree or combination of education and relevant experience. (Electrical Engineering, CAD Software, Design/Drafting etc.)
~3D MicroStation Plus
~ Substation or Power Industry Background
~ Grading work
~ Inroads experience
Pay Rate: $25-36/hour depending on experience.
